Tour Plan

1
Day 1. Arrival in Uganda.
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for a night. Luxury accommodation: Sheraton Kampala or similar on bed and breakfast (BB) Mid-range accommodation: Eureka Palace Kampala or similar on bed and breakfast (BB)

Day 2. Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Meet and greet at your hotel with our driver after breakfast who will transfer you to Entebbe/Kajansi for your flight to Kisoro/Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival at the airstrip, you will be transferred to the lodge by your guide. Later in the day after lunch you will go for a community tour of the Batwa people. Known as the “Keepers of the Forest” the enchanting Batwa pygmies of the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park are a hunter-gatherer tribe that has lived side-by-side with the wildlife of this ancient park for thousands of years. At the Batwa homestead observe how the women prepare, cook and serve a meal. Engage with medicine men and learn about the medicinal properties of the lush forest flora. Hear ancient legends and traditional songs. Enjoy a lively music performance, learn about the Batwa’s fascinating way of life; from religion to their food gathering and hunting techniques, and interact with the tribesmen. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight. Day 3. Gorilla Tracking-Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your trekking.  Your gorilla family tracking will start immediately after the briefing. The time taken to find these great primates ranges between 2 to 8 hours depending on where the family last spent its night. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Free afternoon at leisure at your lodge after the tracking. Day 4. Fly back to Kampala
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip (Kihihi/Kisoro) for your flight to Entebbe. Upon arrival you will again be transferred to your hotel in Kampala and later in the afternoon your driver guide will lead you to Ndere cultural Centre.  The Ndere Centre is home to cultural information, the Ndere Troupe and headquarters of Uganda Development Theatre Association. The Ndere Troupe captures the amazing traditional songs, dances, and unique instruments from the 56 tribes of Uganda. They weave them with humorously informative stories and present them in an authentic but artistically developed spectacle and experience not to be missed. For international guests to Uganda, this is the best introduction to Uganda, East Africa and Africa’s culture and ways of life.  Return to your hotel for overnight. Day 5. Half Day Kampala City tour and departure
After break-fast your driver will lead you on a Kampala city tour. This will include visits to the various monuments in the city like the Independence monument, Sir Edward Mutesa 1 Monument, World war memorial monument and the statue of leadership.  Namugongo Martyrs Shrine and Lubiri/Kabaka’s palace are also part of the city tour. Return from the city tour in time and be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
