Tour Plan

1
Day 1. Arrival in Uganda
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for a night. This driver will be your guide throughout the trip Accommodation: Sheraton Kampala or Similar on bed and Breakfast (BB)

Day 2. Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
At 07:30 Am depart Kampala and drive to Queen Elizabeth national park Via Mubende-Fort portal and Kasese reaching the park late afternoon. The route is incredibly scenic passing through tea plantations and the lush green country side which characterizes much of Uganda.  In the evening, take a game drive, this classic African safari offers virtually guaranteed buffalo, antelope and elephants. Accommodation: Mweya safari lodge or Similar-Queen Elizabeth National Park on full board (B, L, D)

Day 3. Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel.
This morning, take another game drive. As you bump along the wilderness in same darkness, you see the sun creeping up, a bout to light up the amazing land. Oh, that glorious moment that awakens your senses. You see things clearly. The Lions, the hidden elephants, the buffalos, the birds, the flowers already to be captured in your soul. Return to your lodge for a rest and lunch. After lunch take a 2-hour boat cruise on the majestic Kanzinga channel known for its high concentration of hippos. Enormous buffalos and elephants are seen linger on the shoreline. An average of 60 bird species can be spotted during this trip. Accommodation: Mweya Safari lodge or Similar on full board. (B, L, D)

Day 4. Drive to Ishasha Sector-Queen Elizabeth National Park
This morning takes a 2-hour safari drive to Ishasha sector for the game drive in search of the famous tree climbing lions. The sector has got a rich biodiversity and is home to a verity of wildlife such as buffalos, different species of antelopes and birds. Take the mid-morning and afternoon exploring and reaching wide and far for game. Accommodation: Ishasha Jungle lodge or similar on full board basis (B.L.D).

Day 5. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
After breakfast, check out of your lodge and start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This safari drive from the Southern Part of Queen Elizabeth National through Kihihi town then Buhoma takes about 2-3 hours. Free afternoon at leisure at the lodge as you prepare for the big event next morning. Accommodation: Silverback Lodge or similar on full board (B, L, D)

Day 6. Gorilla Tracking.
After breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your trekking.  Your gorilla family tracking will start immediately after the briefing. The time taken to find these great primates ranges between 2 hours to 8 hours depending on where the family last spent its night. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Return to your accommodation for a nap and later in the afternoon if time allows visit the Batwa community. Accommodation: Silverback Lodge or similar on full boar basis (B, L, D)

Day 7. Drive to Kampala
After breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and start your journey back to Kampala through Ntungamo-Mbarara-Masaka arriving your hotel late afternoon. Free evening at leisure at your hotel in Kampala as you relax from a long yet exciting journey. Accommodation: Sheraton Kampala or similar on bed and breakfast (B, L, D).

Day 8. Half Day Kampala City Tour and Departure.
After break-fast your driver will take you on a Kampala city tour. This will include a visit to the various monuments in the city like the Independence monument, Sir Edward Mutesa 1 Monument, World war memorial monument and the statue of leadership among others, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine and Lubiri/Kabaka’s palace are also part of the city tour. Return from the city tour in time and be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight.
