Day 1. Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Meet and greet a with your driver guide in Kampala and start on an approximately 10 hours’ drive journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have your first stop at Equator for photos, breakfast and general muscle stretching and thereafter embark on your journey going through the undulating Kigezi hills arriving at your lodge late in the afternoon/evening. Free evening at leisure at your lodge. Budget accommodation: Ride 4 a woman or similar on full board (B, L, D)
Day 2. Morning gorilla tracking and evening Batwa trail experience
After breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your trekking. Your gorilla family tracking will start immediately after the briefing. The time taken to find these great primates ranges between 2 hours to 8 hours depending on where the family last spent its night. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Return to your accommodation for a nap and later in the afternoon visit the Batwa community. Budget accommodation: Ride 4 a woman or similar on full board (B, L, D)
Day 3. Drive back to Kampala.
After breakfast at leisure, you will check out of the lodge and start your journey back to Kampala via Mbarara-Masaka highly with lunch En route. Your driver will drop you at a place in Kampala.
