5 days driving gorilla Trekking tour

On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for a night. Luxury accommodation: Sheraton Kampala or similar on Bed & Breakfast (BB) Mid -Range accommodation: Eureka palace or similar on bed and breakfast (BB)

Meet and greet at the hotel with your driver guide and start on an approximately 10 hours’ drive journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have your first stop at Equator for photos, breakfast and general muscle stretching and thereafter embark on your journey going through the undulating Kigezi hills arriving at your lodge late in the afternoon/evening. After breakfast with your packed lunch, your guide will drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing about the dos and don’ts during your trekking.  Your gorilla family tracking will start immediately after the briefing. The time taken to find these great primates ranges between 2 hours to 8 hours depending on where the family last spent its night. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored. Many find it to be a rare and moving opportunity. Return to your accommodation for a nap and later in the afternoon visit the Batwa community. After breakfast at leisure, you will check out of the lodge and start your journey back to Kampala through Mbarara-Masaka arriving late afternoon at your hotel. Free evening at leisure at your hotel in Kampala as you relax from the long yet exciting journey. After break-fast your driver will take you on a Kampala city tour. This will include a visit to the various monuments in the city like the Independence monument, Sir Edward Mutesa 1 Monument, World war memorial monument and the statue of leadership among others, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine and Lubiri/Kabaka’s palace are also part of the city tour. Return in time and be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight
