Tour Plan

1
Day 1. Arrival in Uganda
On arrival at Entebbe international airport, you will be met by your guide who will then transfer you to a hotel in Kampala for a night. This driver will be your guide throughout the trip. Luxury accommodation: Sheraton Kampala or Similar on bed and Breakfast (BB). Mid –range accommodation: Eureka Palace hotel or similar on bed and breakfast (BB)

Day 2. Kampala-Murchison Falls National Park-Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
After an early morning breakfast, start your journey to Uganda’s largest and oldest conservation area hosting 76 species of Mammals and 451 birds.  You will go through Masindi with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Southern White Rhino tracking. Conveniently located about 176 kms north of Kampala and seated on about 7000 hectares of land, Ziwa Rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda where you are able to see Rhinos in the wild. Day 3. Game drive. Boat cruise and Hike to the top of the Falls
Take a magical morning game drive to spot wild life including elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, antelopes among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and later take on a boat cruise on the mighty Nile river along which you will see more animals and birds including Savannah forest birds and water birds. Leave the boat and hike to the top of the falls. At this point you are able to have spectacular views of the falls as the world’s longest river violently roars through a six-meter chasm and the views across the park. Day 4. Murchison Falls National Park-Kidepo Valley National Park.
Check out of your lodge after breakfast and embark on an estimated 5 hours’ drive to Kidepo Valley National park through Gulu, Kitgum with lunch en route. Driving through the wilderness is an exciting experience as one gets the chance of better scenery. Upon arrival in the park, check in at your lodge and if time allows take an evening game drive that will take you through the Narus valley.  On this drive you have a chance to see herds of buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, zebras and hopefully some lions, leopard and the elusive cheetah.  This will also enable you to be in full sight of varieties of birds as well. Stops will be made at any time for you to take photos. Luxury accommodation: Apoka Safari lodge on full board (B, L, D). Day 5. Morning game drive and Afternoon community tour-Kidepo valley national park.
After an early morning breakfast, embark on a morning game drive with visits to Kanangorok hot spring.  Where a variety of animals and birds can be seen roving around like the fast-running Ostrich. Take a nature walk to view a variety of fauna and flora species in the park.  Return to the lodge for lunch and a rest. In the evening, go for a cultural tour in the Karamojong community. Here you will spend a wonderful evening with Karamojong people having insights of their way of life and beliefs. At the end of the tour, you will be able to understand why their pride makes them slow to adapt to globalization. Luxury accommodation: Apoka Safari lodge on full board (B, L, D). Day 6. Kidepo Valley National Park -Sipi Falls.
This early morning have another shot of a game as you depart for Sipi falls in Eastern Uganda. You will go through a vast and unspoiled wilderness and Karamoja plains. Along the way you will also see the beautiful green vegetation and rocks along the slopes of mountain Elgon.  Free afternoon at leisure at the lodge Luxury accommodation: Sipi River Lodge or similar on full board (B, L, D). Mid-range accommodation: Lacam lodge or similar on full board (B L, D)

Day 7. Hiking, Coffee Plantation tour and Community encounters.
After breakfast, your guide will lead you to the Sipi falls hiking start point for a briefing about the activity. Sipi falls is comprised of 3 waterfalls located in different places and at different heights, this therefore means that it’s impossible to see all of them at the same time, but they can be seen in one day.  After lunch you will go for a community encounter and coffee plantation tour. Being in Kapchorwa there is a lot to see like the Sabiny who basically stay around the Sipi, their way of life, dress code and traditional dances. While at Sipi add your experience by visiting the coffee plantation on the lower slopes of Mt Elgon. Coffee is the cash crop to the Bagishu and Sabiny in this area, during this visit you will learn how coffee is harvested, roasted and processed. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Luxury accommodation: Sipi River Lodge or similar on full board (B, L, D). Mid-range accommodation: Lacam lodge or similar on full board (B L, D).

Day 8. Sipi-Kampala via Source of the Nile.
Early morning after breakfast bid farewell to Sipi falls and start your journey to Kampala with a stop at the source of the Nile. Take a boat cruise on the Nile to the exact point where the mighty Nile begins its 6695km journey north word to the Mediterranean Sea discharging averagely over 3 million liters of water per second.  After lunch depart and continue with your journey to Kampala arriving late afternoon at your hotel Luxury accommodation: Sheraton Kampala on bed and breakfast (BB). Mid-range accommodation: Eureka Palace Kampala on bed and breakfast (BB).

Day 9. Half day free at leisure. Departure flight.
You will have a half day free relaxing at your hotel or decide to do shopping from one of the many craft markets a round. Later in the day your driver guide will transfer you to Entebbe international airport for your return flight.
